A beGalileo demo class is an online class where the beGalileo certified teacher will join along with your child. In the class, the teacher will have audio-video setup along with whiteboard, gamified learning questions, videos etc. The class platform allows the teacher to see and talk to the student, use the whiteboard for explanation and the gamified platform for practicing math and logical reasoning concepts. You can also sit along with your child to see how the class is being done. The experience will be better than a class where a teacher and student are both co-located along with the huge benefit of taking the class from the comforts of your home.
The class will be for 30 minutes.
- Device : You will need a laptop, desktop or iPad
- Software: Any operating system is fine including Windows, MacOS, Linux. Latest version of Google chrome browser is required.
- Audio and video: In order to ensure the class is very effective, the student needs a headset and camera. For laptops and iPads, the camera is built-in, for desktops, you can use a webcam
- Network: Broadband connection is preferred. You can check your internet speed using the link, speed test address: http://www.speedtest.net/ . We recommend a wired network connection. If you are using wireless, please choose the area where the network signal is stable for the class
The demo class is absolutely FREE and is an opportunity for you to experience the program before purchasing a beGalileo subscription.
Your child will attend 2 online classes per week during the entire duration of the subscription.
The teacher will assign work to the child after every class and she will be monitoring the progress regularly. Parents will also be informed and their support will be required to motivate the student to submit the work on time.
Yes, the platform has been designed for younger kids and your child will be able to use easily. You will need to be present with the child for the first few classes to help in login and settling the child for the class.
